Timboon Distillery is known for its premium whisky that is aged in oak barrels in Australia.  Hence, when You Be The Barsita decided to explore the possibilities of barrel-aging coffee, they knew they needed premium barrels. That's when they reached out to Timboon, one of Australia’s finest distillers with a reputation for excellence in whiskey aging and experimentation.
The process begins with Timboon providing the barrels that were previously used to age their whiskey. You be The Barista then selects high-quality Colombian coffee beans from which the coffee extract is produced, using the revolutionary TCB Process®. This extract is then finally aged in the barrels for up to 6 months to meet You be The Barista's high-quality standards, bottled and made available to you, the coffee connoisseur.

The barrel-ageing process results in a rich and complex concentrate that combines the unique flavours of a premium whiskey with the boldness of The Classic Colombian espresso coffee. The barrel-ageing process gives this coffee a smooth and mellow flavour, while the espresso brings out the rich, robust flavours of Colombian coffee beans.

What's particularly exciting about this product is its versatility. You Be The Barista recommends using the coffee concentrate as a base for a variety of beverages, including hot coffee drinks, iced coffee drinks, and espresso cocktails.
